The duties of the Grant County County Treasurers office are to receive and safely keep the revenues and other public monies of the County, to invest any surplus funds, to distribute the monies collected to the proper recipients, and to pay the Countys bills as directed by the Grant County Commissioners.
The Treasurer, as custodian of the Countys money, provides a financial statement to the Grant County Commissioners. The office must also store records and accounts and provide the information to interested parties.
