The Grant County Economic Development Office can help you with all your business development needs from starting a new business to relocating an already successful operation to Grant County.
The office provides small business development classes in partnership with the Small Business Development Center at Eastern Oregon University and the Grant County Chamber of Commerce.
Small or emerging businesses can get help writing a business plan, business finance, marketing, cost of goods, and other business issues. The Small Business Management Program I starts in January each year and runs through November with evening classes that meet monthly.
Along with class time, each instructor provides face-to-face mentoring on an individual basis to enrolled participants at no cost to the business.
Program II is for those participants that want to continue a more in-depth course of study. Program II is offered when there is sufficient interest, as in January 2009.
